Matches up on a blue square it means it Can capture it in HDR and I have no idea If I'm pointing at the right thing by The way I'm just standing in front of White piece of paper so forgive my Inaccuracy with this thing this is a Tripod by the way I felt like I needed To clarify that these charts are Insanely helpful for two reasons first Off it makes choosing a capture card Incredibly easy for example let's say I'm a power user and I game in 4k 144 And I want to capture that gameplay in 4k so I go and I see where they meet up And I see oh man the 4K Pro doesn't Allow you to capture 4K while you're Gaming at those resolutions why don't we Jump down to the 4K X chart to see if Their USB capture card can do do that And it looks like this card will be Great for me I can game at 4K 144 and I Can capture either 4K 30 HDR if I really Want HDR or any of the other 4K Resolutions if I'm okay with SDR which By the way did you notice the 4K 144 Capture rate we'll get to that later the Second thing it does is it shows the Clear power and versatility of these Cards right up front especially at their Price points Dustin toss the price Points on there here are some areas of Interest on the 4K Pro chart just look At the vast number of pass through Resolutions you're able to game at using
This card and then also the insane Amount of blue on this chart all the Different HDR resolutions you can Capture at it makes it very clear that This card is for the pro Gamers and the Procreators like the gamers who want a Game at 4K 240 frames per second which I Believe is a first on any capture card And then also the creators that want to Capture 4K 60 in HDR which I also Believe is another first and the 4K X is For either Gamers or creators who want a Little bit lower price point or want to Do some more Niche things like 4K 144 Frames per second capture also a crazy First for capture cards these are both Insane cards and they both also have Some really cool strengths so look at This chart figure out which one works For you in fact they're almost as Awesome as our brand new merch like the Noti Me Senpai hoodie or the idiot Beanie both available at Senpai dotv Let's go back to the Desk okay so I dove into researching These cards immediately after finishing Up the a media capture card video and I Came across a handful of frustrations Like I always try not to be the guy That's like buy this company don't buy This company because every company has Their strengths and their weaknesses and Different people have different needs But this Elgato drop is is wild like
These Elgato cards can do everything the A media cards can do and then even more On top of it and they're either almost The exact same price or in the case of Their external card cheaper so unless You really like a media software or you Really want RGB on your capture card It's really hard to justify getting one Of those the other frustration comes Back to this because not only did Elgato Send me this they created an entirely New web page where you enter in your Gaming info and they help you choose the Right card that gives you the right spec That you're looking for they make the Whole process easy and give you as much Information as they can the link to that Page is right here by the way and also I'll link it in the description that is A very real link and also this is a very Real conversation leading up to the Creation of that link a media you guys Need to take some notes here because While Elgato sent me this you sent me This and if I wanted more than this I Had to actively go out and ask you for It and I did I emailed you a bunch of Times I asked you a bunch of questions And you answered them but I had so many Questions to ask that I forgot to ask if This was HDR I saw the 4K 60 and I saw The HDR right next to it and I had no Way of knowing that 4K 60 was only SDR And you had to do 4K 30 to do HDR and
