Can we just celebrate for a moment that This shot this the shot that you're Looking at right now is being shot on $180 webcam for $180 this looks amazing The webcams weren't always like this Some of you remember I remember when Webcams weren't like This those were Dark Times huge thank you to obsbot for Sponsoring this video in this video We're going to talk about six cameras That you can use for streaming ranging From $8 I guess actually kind of free Free free do all the way to $600 and I Think whatever webcam you're looking for I think you're going to find in this Video there's no particular order of Cameras I'm not going favorite to least Favorite but I am going to start with The camera that we've been using for This video so far and that is the brand New recently released obsbot tiny 2 Light obsbot has done something really Cool that I'm excited about and I Actually think you're really going to be Excited about they've released these PTZ Cameras in the past that we've talked About a handful of times on this channel These cool ones you know like they can Like follow you and they can move around To presets whatever you whatever you Want them to do but usually they're $300 The obsbot tiny two light brings for the First time those that gimbal really cool
Webcam motorized webcam for $180 and It's still 4K it still has a massive Sensor and an incredible image quality That you can well you can just you've Been looking at it for a while but if This is your first time hearing about One of these crazy cameras let me just Give you a a refresh a rundown of what These things do this thing has two Different Motors in it so it can not Only look left and right but also up and Down you can completely control that From the free software that it comes With you can also set those positions to Presets so maybe half the time you're Sitting at your desk and half the time You're standing up in the middle of your Room you can just click a button and Have the webcam snap to those positions It also has an AI tracking feature where The camera can follow you around the Room no matter where you go including Tracking specific areas like upper body So as you move further away it zooms in On you and keeps you centered kind of The same fixture in the picture and this Thing especially when you set it to Motion mode it is very hard to get it to Lose you in the motion tracking it it Finds you no matter how fast you're Moving you're even able to activate These tracking modes by holding up Gestures in front of the camera that way If you're standing up and moving around
And you want it to start tracking you Just hold up your hand and it starts Tracking and you can also use gestures To have it zoom in on you the autofocus On this webcam is something called phase Detect autofocus which is a very High-end autofocus system especially for A webcam like face detect is what like These high-end mirrorless cameras Use like I've been using autofocus on This camera the entire time and I Haven't seen it lose focus once so very Impressive and then let's do a low light Test here I've got the obsbot tiny 2 Light right here in front of me and then As you can see from this camera I've got No lights on me except for my monitor Which is at a pretty standard brightness Right now and uh it's it's pretty Impressive I'm pretty happy with how This looks I mean there's the obvious Thing to notice which is the kind of Lack of noise like you can see some Noise in the background which you get in Lowlight situations you can see it Especially in these dark spots right Here maybe a little bit over here but Webcams in a dark situation usually have A lot more noise than this but mostly The biggest thing is that my skin tones Like the colors of this shot are still Really natural usually with these low Light webcam shots it doesn't know how To white balance it doesn't know how to
Process the little color that it's Picking up and the skin tones start to Get really really strange looking at and This still even though it looks dark It's it's still pretty natural I'm very Impressed with the low light performance Of this camera but one new thing they Added to the tiny two light is something Called productive presets where not only Can you save the position of where the Camera is facing but you can also add Things like tracking settings or image Settings so maybe you have a streaming Preset where the camera is pointing Right at you with no Zoom no tracking But maybe when you're doing a zoom Presentation you want to stand in the Middle of the room and you want the Camera to track you and you want to turn Down the exposure because the the window Is right next to you right there you can Have all those settings saved to your Presets it's pretty cool mostly I'm just Excited that we finally have these super Cool little motorized webcams at a Decent affordable price that almost Anyone can justify but let's move on to Camera number two let's move to Something a little bit more budget do You remember when we all had the Logitech C920 like that was the webcam To buy it wasn't that it was good it was That it was cheap it was $50 at the time And it looked fine but it was released
In 2012 and Camera Tech has come a long Way since then so what is the modern Equivalent of a Logitech c92 20 and I Did a lot of research on this one it Seems like in the last couple years Logitech has wanted to reclaim that Title of the first webcam that people Buy and they've thrown out quite a Handful of really budget webcams one of Them has stood out to me and it's the Brio 300 you can get this thing for less Than $50 on Amazon at least as of as of This morning when I checked now Disclosure this shot is not on the Brio 300 because I don't own one it's one of The two webcams in this video that I Don't own the rest of the shots will be On their own webcam but the Brio 300 is In my opinion the perfect budget Dedicated webcam it's got fixed Focus Which means it doesn't have autofocus Which is a good thing for cheap cameras Cuz usually cheap cameras don't have Good autofocus this way as long as You're the proper distance from the Camera you will be crisp and it's a Pretty crisp webcam it's $10 cheaper Than the 12-year-old Logitech C920 that I mentioned earlier and it's a pretty Significant visual upgrade over it so While you're not going to blow any Minds With this camera you're going to get a Good image it's a enough image it's a Sharp enough image the colors look fine
And it's 50 bucks I know the Brio 100 is $10 cheaper but every single video I saw On that webcam the person was out of Focus and the background was in Focus so I think they kind of messed up on the Focus tuning on that thing if you're Looking for the perfect combination of Absolute cheapest webcam without Completely sacrificing quality I'd go With the Brio 300 so we are going to go Cheaper than the $50 webcam later in This video This is the opposite of that This is the $300 Elgato face cam Pro It's the first of two premium webcams We're going to talk about in this video And each one has like their different Strengths so I'll tell them to you so if You're looking for a really fancy webcam You know which one to pick up the Elgato Face cam pro has a couple advantages the First one you probably saw as soon as we Switched to it and that is the super Wide field of view which is really cool A lot of streamers want this maybe you Spent a ton of time on your setup or you Move around a lot and you just needed to See everything this thing does that it's Also got a fantastic image processor and Sensor in it which is why the colors Look so much richer the dynamic range Meaning the bright spots and the dark Spots you get details in both uh when I Did a video on this webcam I tricked People in the beginning into thinking it
Was my DSLR like my fancy webcam I even Tricked Elgato employees they told me Afterwards it's just a greatl looking Webcam it's also the first webcam to do A full 4K 60 directly out of it which is What you're looking at right now you may Have noticed I look a little bit Smoother a lot of streams on Twitch are 60 frames per second so now you can get That 60 FPS out of your webcam without Sacrificing the 4K like you have to do On most other webcams this also allows You to do Elgato software to do some Really cool stuff like PTZ functionality It's not quite the same as the obsbot in The beginning where the camera Physically moves but because the field Of view is so wide and because it's 4K You can digitally punch in on different Areas and use buttons on your stream Deck to do that that way if you want to Really punch in for the memes you can do That it's a great webcam with really Easy and Powerful software let's move Over to the other Pro webcam real Question for you does this webcam look Really similar to the previous webcam That's because it is this is the same Webcam this is the other webcam that I Don't own myself but this webcam Consistently looks amazing and does Amazing things in every video that I've Seen about it I'm very impressed it's The Razer Kio Pro Ultra which is
Something I love to see I've had a Handful of disappointing videos in Razer Webcams before and it feels like they Finally nailed something that really Brings some cool value it's another $300 Webcam but it does things a little bit Differently than the Elgato face cam Pro And I think it has a couple of Advantages first thing is that it's got A narrower field of view so if you're Just trying to focus on yourself and Nothing else you're going to get a much Better shot of that and when you combine A narrower field of view with a larger Sensor something it does that I've never Seen any other webcam do is give a Natural bokeh or background blur Essentially it's the first webcam I've Seen to really be able to pull off that Natural background blur it does a pretty Good job and that large sensor which is The largest sensor on this list also Allows it to capture more light and work By far the best in low light I think That makes it a really powerful Contender that's worth mentioning on Here those two2 $300 webcams they both Have their different uses depending on What you need let's move on to the next One this next webcam if I'm going to be Real with you is the least utilized but Also still the most value best bang for Your buck camera you could possibly use On your stream and it kind of makes me
Sad this webcam you're looking at right Now is free kind of it's my phone I'm Using an app called epot Cam and I am Using the pro version which is I think $8 a one-time fee but there's also a Free version that works really well and It just utilizes the super high-end Cameras that are on your phone that You're already carrying in your pocket And it uses it as a webcam and not only Does it use them but I have complete Control over them using elgato's camera Hub software so I can do things like Switch back and forth between the three Cameras that are on my phone I can do Those PTZ zoom in that you can do with a Face cam Pro you can even add Snapchat Filters directly to your camera to use On stream and it's super versatile you Can even connect to your computer Wirelessly by just being on the same Wi-Fi connection which is actually what I'm doing right now the cable that's Plugged in that's just that's just for Power I can set up my phone anywhere I Want and just hit go when this app first Launched phone cameras were were good But I mean they were just fine right now Phone cameras are amazing they get Better every year it hurts me that People aren't using this one let's go to The last camera and for the final camera On this list we have the webcam that Everyone on Twitch is trying to move to
Which is using a mirrorless camera as a Webcam doing this has a bunch of Advantages the most obvious one being as Soon as you're done streaming if you Want to go in a different room or a Different spot and shoot a video you can Take this off your setup and record Something elsewhere they're also Upgradeable so if I want to take off the Lens that came with the camera here and Maybe put on maybe a slightly wider lens So you can show off more of your room And your desk and this one also works a Little bit better in lower light or Maybe you care more about that Background blur and you want to pick up A lens with a really fast aperture to do Something like that either way Regardless of the shot you're looking For this is what you go for when you Want a more professional look and my Favorite recommendation for streamers Looking to dip their toe into this more Professional Market is the Sony zv E1 This camera goes for $700 or if you just Want the body without the lens because You know you have another lens you want To purchase instead you can save $100 by Going body only and it's only $600 the Word only is subjective by the way I Know $600 is still a lot of money but Compared to other cameras on the market This is very fairly priced the zve E1 Was made to be an entry-level content
